Who We Are:

Robert J. Zatz, D.M.D. has been practicing family dentistry in South Windsor, CT since 1987. He grew up in New York City and New Jersey, graduating from Rutgers University in 1983 with a Bachelors degree in Human Physiology. Dr. Zatz attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1987. In addition to his practice in South Windsor, Dr. Zatz has treated patients in the Putnam, Derby and Waterbury areas of the state. Dr. Zatz loves helping his patients to enjoy their dental visits as much as possible.  

Derek J. McElroy, R.D.H grew up in Vernon and obtained his Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport. Derek strives to make your cleaning appointment as relaxed and comfortable as possible by keeping abreast of new techniques through trade publications and continuing education courses. Derek has a soft spot for dogs and is always looking forward to hearing the latest story about your pup.

Carol Brown is our afternoon receptionist. Carol grew up in Wethersfield and has lived here in South Windsor with her husband and twin daughters for the past 30 years. Her family have been patients at the practice for the past 23 years; she’s worked for us for eight years now. Carol is a Yankees fan and enjoys shopping, cooking and trying out new restaurants.

Alicia F. Parzych has been our office manager for the past fourteen years. She grew up in Tolland and has over 20 years of experience in office administration. Alicia lives in Vernon with her husband and three children. When she’s not behind the desk, Alicia can be found assisting Dr. Zatz, or Derek. Alicia is a die-hard Patriots fan.
